The Higher Committee for Human Fraternity implements and supports internationally coexistence initiatives outlined in a significant contemporary document, the “DOCUMENT ON HUMAN FRATERNITY” signed in Abu Dhabi on August 19, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam Ahmed el-Tayeb of Al-Azhar Mosque. It marks the first time in history that the leader of the Catholic Church and the Sunni Grand Imam have jointly signed a document, endorsed by a significant committee with members like Rabbi Bruce Lustig and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Leymah Gbowee. This historic text aims to promote a deeper understanding and cooperation among different religions, fostering human fraternity and mutual respect.

Antonio Banderas has played a major role in transforming the cultural scene of Málaga, his hometown, through numerous initiatives.
