The wise as a model of inspiration
MAGOS means “THE WISE” according to Eastern traditions. In ancient Persian, MAGOS is “the one who knows how to do.” The Latin derivative “MAGIS” characterizes a masterful way of thinking that enables one to act well.
Who are the new “magos” of the contemporary world?
In our time, the etymology of the word MAGOS particularly resonates in these well-known or anonymous personalities distinguished by their commitment to the concerns of the contemporary world.
These Honorary Awards are an opportunity to pay tribute to the career of personalities, philanthropists, institutions, and organizations that have followed the path of the etymology of the word MAGOS, that is, “the scholarly expert with the ability to achieve great feats.”

It marks the first time in history that the leader of the Catholic Church and the Sunni Grand Imam have jointly signed a document, endorsed by a significant committee with members like Rabbi Bruce Lustig and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Leymah Gbowee.
